Get involved!
Volunteers are needed to make time for things that really matter. If you can spare a few hours a week to make a difference that wil last beyond the time you give, please call. Read about recent volunteer projects here.
Ways you can help:
Fundraising – Solicit sponsors, serve food at parties
Publicity – help us become better known. Distribute brochures, speak at service organizations.
On-Site – Monitor Drop-In activity, sort clothing and other gifts, perform handyman repair, paint, mow the lawn, help with food prep.
Join our Board – ASAP is looking for giving people who can contribute their time and talents. Board members attend monthly evening meetings and serve on at least one committee.
A Grant Writer is also needed.

And please, attend our FUN-raising Events! Our biggest fundraiser of the year is Holiday Hope – our November Gala. Last year’s gala raised over $30,000, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting ASAP Homeless Services. They were used to open a new job and business training center, known as The H.U.B. Employment Counselors at The H.U.B. are selflessly giving local people who are down are their luck the skills they need to secure jobs or start their own businesses.
