The cost to run the shelters, Drop-In-Center and HUB is over $25,000/month. You can help with:

Adopt-a-Room
Make a dream come true – you or your company can still adopt a room in one of our shelters for 2008-2010. Adoption involves donating a fixed amount per month for a year. Donations may be made monthly, quarterly or annualy. A plaque will be placed in your adopted room to recognize your donation. You will receive newsletters throughout the year informing you of the activities and accomplishments at the shelter. During holidays and special events you will be invited, but not required, to sponsor the family or children living in your room. You will be given a tour of the facility and your adopted room.

FEMA guidelines suggest our cost basis to cover one room with an occupancy of 3 people for 1 year would be $13,500. Please help us offset this cost. Your contributions matter!
Shower of Blessings
You can adopt a bathroom for $100/mo. We have 17 bathrooms that need constant supplies: Combs, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, towels, washcloths, soap, feminine products, shampoo, etc…
Feed a Family
$100/mo is all it takes to feed one of our 11 families. Please help – let no one go hungry!
Emergency Needs
Combs, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, towels, washcloths, soap, feminine products, shampoo/conditioner, aftershave, T-shirts of all sizes, men’s briefs, men’s white socks, men’s belts, women’s undergarments, backpacks/gym bags.
In-Kind Donations
Clothing, Office Supplies, Food, Household equipment
Items are accepted at our Drop-In-Center: 421 11th Ave S., St Petersburg.

Reach Out
ASAP is looking for Board Members who can help direct the program and contribute their time and talents. Board members must attend each monthly evening meeting and serve on at least one committee. If you are interested, call 727-823-5665 and ask for Karen Bolden.
Volunteer
